Fay Dalton, l'illustratrice de la carte Trouble in Pairs de l'édition Murders at Karlov Manor Commander Decks, est accusée de plagiat de l'illustration de Donato Giancola pour la couverture du roman "Cyberpunk 2020: The Ravengers" (1995). Il ne semble pas être le seul artiste à avoir été plagié pour cette illustration... :
• la main libre du personnage au premier plan est plagiée de "Corniche" (1987) de Boris Vallejo.
• le visage du personnage au premier plan est plagié de "A Question of Guilt" (1957) de Will Hulsey.
• la main armée du personnage au premier plan est plagiée de ""The Bull" Toughest Marine in the Whole Damned Corps" (1966) de Morton Künstler.
Après avoir examiné la question de plus près, WotC a suspendu tout travail futur avec Fay Dalton.

To be clear, there are exacting details in the neck, arms, background, and hand which show clear copied structures from my art. Copied and pasted. This is not about 'similarities' , this is about direct copying.

Somehow the Trouble in Pairs situation has gotten even worse.
It seems the Male figure's face was entirely copied over from a Will Hulsey Trapped magazine cover, while the body, neck & left arm come directly from a Boris Vallejo illustration.

We've heard questions on the integrity of the art on the card Trouble in Pairs from the Murders at Karlov Manor Commander set, and we had questions, too. As we have looked into this further, we're now suspending future work with Fay Dalton.
